Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan said that Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) should initiate broadened programs with an objective to enhance capacity building of students.

He expressed these views while chairing 19th Meeting of Institute of Management Sciences Board of Governors in Peshawar. The meeting was also attended by Secretary Finance KP, Additional Secretary HED KP, Prof. Dr. Asmat Ullah Khan, Arooj Ahmad Ansari, Prof. Dr. Wasim Khan, Advisor World Bank Pakistan, Amjad Ali Arbab, Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Rasool Jan, Ghulam Dastagir Khan and others.

The Governor also proposed a committee and directed reexamining the linkages in this regard. He also directed IM Science Administration to develop strong coordination with Higher Education Commission for proper guidelines and cater the need of modern education.

On the occasion, the Governor reiterated that entitled students from FATA should be included in institute under special children program adding the criteria of selection should be included good character and sense of responsibility.
