In occupied Kashmir, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani has slammed the occupation authorities for their apathetic and biased approach towards political prisoners.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, he said these prisoners are meted out ill-treatment and their basic rights are denied and trampled.

Ali Gilani said instead of taking serious and sincere steps for resolution of Kashmir dispute, the authorities are treating it as mere a law and order problem.

He appealed to the international organisations to take cognizance of rights violations in the occupied territory.
