Pakistan Hindu Council asks Indian PM to work for peace
September 26, 2020

Patron-in-Chief Pakistan Hindu Council Dr. Ramesh Kumar says Indian government is working against ideology of Hindu religion.

Addressing a sit-in in-front of diplomatic enclave in Islamabad, he said Hindu community is in shock after tragic incident of Jodhpur where eleven Pakistani Hindus were killed in mysterious condition.

The participants of the sit-in  adopted a resolution demanding India to involve Pakistan for ensuring fair and transparent investigation into Jodhpur tragedy.

The resolution asked to revoke Citizenship Amendment Bill, recently passed in India, terming it an abuse of human rights and controversial.

It said the case of Samjhota Express must also be opened for providing justice to the innocent victims.

It also expressed solidarity with brothers and sisters living in the Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir and demanded an end to human rights violations there.

The Pakistan Hindu Council has now called off its sit-in staged in front of Indian High Commission in Islamabad.
