Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi says the drive "Lets Clean Karachi" is underway with full swing in the city and five big and six small drains are being cleaned.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, he said twenty teams are engaged in the campaign and in the first phase, they have lifted forty seven thousand metric ton garbage from the drainage in twenty days.
Earlier, US Consul General in Karachi, Rob Silberstein, called on the Minister for Maritime Affairs at his office in Karachi. They discussed various issues, including ongoing situation in Kashmir.
