The World Health Organization has warned the world that it is still in the middle of the first wave of global pandemic.

Talking to media men in Bangkok today, WHO executive director Dr. Mike Ryan said that in South America, South Asia and other areas, infections are still on the rise.

He said the world is still very much in a phase where the disease is actually on the way up.
