Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi says Pakistan and United Arab Emirates enjoy brotherly relations based on bonds of common religion and faith.

He made these remarks while talking to media on the occasion of Football Championship of Ramadan 2019 arranged by the Embassy of UAE at its premises, in Islamabad.

The Ambassador said both the countries are striving to further build and strengthen their cordial relations. He said that his country is focusing on many projects in Pakistan in terms of health and education.

He said the event was aimed at bringing all the Islamic countries under the one umbrella and promoting the message of peace and tolerance. He said all the Muslims are brother and like a nation.    

The UAE Embassy’s team clinched the Football Championship by beating Al-Khaima Al Arabia team by one goal.

The Ambassador also distributed medals and prizes among the players over their prominent performance in the championship.
