The government is giving priority to the early completion of motorways and road infrastructure projects to reap the fruits of economic progress and prosperity.

Talking to Radio Pakistan the Minister of State for Communications Abdul Hakeem Baloch said substantial investments are being made to develop the trade corridor.

He said Land acquisition process for Lahore-Karachi Motorway project stands completed at a cost two billion rupees. The project will be completed by 2017.

Work on other Motorway projects including Karachi-Hyderabad and Hazara Motorways is also in full swing.
