Kashmiris living on both sides of the Line of Control will observe Black Day on Thursday to protest against the Indian invasion of Jammu and Kashmir on this day in 1947.

The day is observed to mark extreme resentment and indignation over the continued unlawful and forcible occupation of Jammu and Kashmir state by the Indian tyrannical forces.

In occupied Kashmir, the day will be marked by complete shutdown coupled with a wheel jam strike and anti-Indian demonstrations.

Black flags will be hoisted atop the buildings at both sides of LoC.

In Mirpur, a major protest rally will be staged to be followed by a big procession and demonstration.

Speakers on this occasion will highlight the importance of early settlement of the Kashmir problem besides registering protest against the continued forcible and illegal Indian occupation.
