Quetta incident strongly condemned nationally and internationally; funeral offered

61 law enforcement agencies' personnel were martyred and about 124 injured in the attack last night. Three suicide attackers broke into the training centre: two blew themselves up while the third was shot dead by police. Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti appreciated the security forces for conducting the operation in coordinated manner and getting the building of the training centre cleared from the terrorists within three hours.

Funeral Prayers:

The funeral prayers of the security forces personal who were martyred in suicide bomb attack on police training center Quetta was offered in Quetta this afternoon.

Nawaz Sharif has postponed all of his engagements in Islamabad and went to Quetta. PM Chairs a high level meeting 

He was accompanied by Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar and Adviser on National Security Nasser Janjua. The Prime Minister is expected to visit those injured in the Quetta blast.

General Raheel Sharif arrived in Quetta

He was accompanied by the Director General ISI and the Director General Military Intelligence. Army Chief General Raheed Sharif visited Police Training Centre Quetta. He met police officials, army and FC troops who carried out operation last night to clear area, neutralize and eliminate terrorists who attacked PTC.


Amry Chief General Raheel Sharif has announced gallantry awards for Captain Roohullah Shaheed and injured Naib Subedar Muhammad Ali for their valiant action during anti terrorists operations at Police Training Center last night. Having neutralised one suicide bomber, they cornered the second bomber, helping large number of police  recruits escape till he exploded causing the damage .
