Economic stability attracted investors from across the world to Pakistan : President

President Mamnoon Hussain has said economic stability and improvement in law and order has attracted investors from across the world to Pakistan . He was talking to a delegation of Qatari businessmen association in Doha which expressed deep interest to invest in Pakistan . The Central Asian states have also expressed their confidence in the flagship project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor. Pakistan has a bright future and by 2050 it will be in the list of developed countries of the world. Invited the businessman community to invest in energy, basic infrastructure, Halal food and dairy farming sectors in Pakistan .

SBP issuing ten rupee regular coin today

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will issue ten rupees regular coin today. This was stated in the statement issued by State Bank of Pakistan statement. Coin will be issued through the exchange counters of all field offices of SBP Banking Services Corporation.

Telecom sector receives $ 21 million FDI in first quarter

The telecom sector has received US $ 21 million as Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in first quarter of current fiscal year as against US $ 6.9 million in corresponding period of last year. Information Technology sector fetched US $ 3.3 million FDI in July-September 2016 as compared to 0.2 million in corresponding period of last fiscal year.

NJHP to start power generation by February 2018

The nine sixty nine megawatt Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Project (NJHP) will start power generation by February 2018. WAPDA Chairman Lt Gen (r) Muzammil Hussain said this while talking to newsmen after the connection of two portions of the left tunnel of NJHP.
