Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed the provincial Cabinet Committee on Dengue to accelerate steps to control the spread of dengue in Rawalpindi, Multan and other areas of the province.
In a statement issued today, he said special attention should be paid on the indoor dengue larva surveillance.
He asked officials to ensure implementation of the devised procedure for control of the disease.
Meanwhile, another 11 patients have been admitted to Nishtar Hospital Multan, taking the number of the patients in the hospital to twenty-two.
