In occupied Kashmir, senior Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Gilani has termed the banning of Muharram processions and use of force against the Muharram mourners as the worst kind of state terrorism.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said the authorities place extra-ordinary restrictions on the Muslims which prove that the so-called secularism of India is just a fraud.

The veteran Hurriyet leader said the life of Imam Hussain (RA) is a guiding principle for the Muslims especially for the Kashmiri people to show steadfastness and firmness in the fight against India.
