The Sindh Assembly has approved the budget of the next financial year 2014-15 by majority at its session in Karachi on Wednesday.  

The government presented 59 demands for grants of over 650 billion rupees that were passed by majority while the opposition benches tabled 84 cut motions for the next budget that were rejected.

Rejecting the cut motions, the Chief Minister said that all the demands are realistic and much needed and the amount will be spent on projects of public welfare.
