Obama nominates Gen. John Campbell to head Afghan exit
If confirmed by Senate, Campbell will replace Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford.
President Obama has tapped the vice chief of the Army to take over the U.S. command in Afghanistan later this year. America plans to pull out its combat troops and leaves a force of about 10,000 to train the Afghan military.
If confirmed by the Senate, Gen. John Campbell will take over the Afghanistan post, replacing Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford.
