Heat wave to continue in most parts on Wednesday
Dadu, Sh. Benazirabad, Sibbi, Larkana, Mohenjo-Daro, Sukkur, Jacobabad remain the hottest places.
Different parts of the country received rainfall during last 24 hours were: Rawalakot 23, Lasbella 22, Sargodha, Mangla 17, Kotli 12, M.B. Din 10, Lahore 08, Jhelum, Rawalpindi (Chaklala) 06, Chakwal 02, Sahiwal, Muzaffarabad, Skardu 01.
Highest temperature of some cities recorded on Tuesday were: Dadu 49 °C, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sibbi, Larkana, Mohenjo-Daro 47 °C, Sukkur 46 °C, Jacobabad 45 °C .
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 12 hours.
However, rain with thundershower may occur at isolated places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions and Kashmir.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Wednesday morning was:
Islamabad twenty three degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-eight, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-nine, Quetta and Muzaffarabad twenty one, Gilgit seventeen and Murree sixteen degree centigrade.
According to synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over north Baluchistan and adjoining areas. A shallow westerly trough is affecting Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Weak Moist currents from Arabian Sea are continuously penetrating into central and upper parts of the country.
