GB budget balanced, people friendly: Mehdi
Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan says special attention has been paid to energy sector to overcome its shortage.
Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah has termed Gilgit-Baltistan budget as a balanced and people friendly.
Commenting on next financial budget in Gilgit on Wednesday, he said special attention has been paid to energy sector to overcome its shortage.
He said Provincial Government has produced eighty eight megawatt hydro power during the last four year and determined to end load shedding from Gilgit-Baltistan by the end of 2016.
Syed Mehdi Shah said in the budget special amount has been allocated for appointment of three thousand employees in education and Health department besides regularization of contractual service of over seven thousand employees in works department.
Chief Minister said special funds have allocated for introducing federal Doctors salary package and Paramedical staff serving in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In the budget special attention is being paid to Mining, tourism, and industry sectors.
