At least twelve persons were killed and 22 others wounded when a Peshawar-bound passenger coach overturned near Bukhshapur in Kandhkot district, Sindh, on National Highway on Wednesday evening.

A spokesman of district police Kandhkot told Radio Pakistan Hyderabad that all the injured passengers have been shifted to the nearby hospitals.  Some of them are in critical conditions.

Meanwhile, the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has expressed grief over the road accident. He directed the civil administration to provide all possible medical treatment to the wounded persons.
