Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has urged PTI leadership to return to parliament and participate in the proceedings of the Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad along with Minister of State Anusha Rehman on Saturday, he said that government could not accept PTI's demand of sending all the pending election petitions and appeals to the proposed judicial commission. He said that it would lead to an unending process of investigation spanning over years.

Finance Minister asked the PTI negotiating team to define scope of the proposed Judicial Commission to probe the alleged rigging in 2013 elections. He said a new draft has been sent to PTI as desired by the party in previous meetings.

He said the Government wants the proposed Judicial Commission to determine whether elections were massively and systematically rigged by design as alleged by PTI.
