Efforts underway to address energy shortfall: Shahid
The Minister for Petroleum was addressing a conference on Thar Coal project in Karachi.

Addressing a conference on Thar Coal and projects in Karachi‚ he said concerted efforts are being made to address the energy shortfall.
The minister said technical aspects of Thar coal will be reviewed.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said a new phase of Thar Coal mining will start from Monday.
He said Thar Coal has the capacity to produce forty to fifty thousand megawatt electricity.
