Nation celebrated Quaid's birthday with national zeal
Countrywide ceremonies were held to highlight various aspects of personality of the father of the nation.
The nation celebrated 141st birthday of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with national zeal and enthusiasm on Sunday.
The national flag was hoisted atop all public and private buildings.
The day dawned with Qur'an Khwani at Quaid's Mausoleum in Karachi. A change of guard ceremony was held at Mazar-e-Quaid on Sunday morning. Cadets of Pakistan Military Academy Kakul took charge of guard duty.
Various events, including seminars, debates, exhibitions, and shows of performing arts were held to highlight various aspects of personality of the founding father, his teachings and achievements.
Radio Pakistan and Pakistan television are broadcasting and telecasting special programmes in connection with the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam.
