Govt taking steps to overcome challenges like terrorism: Saad
Railways Minister was talking to newsmen at Lahore Railway Station after visiting special Christmas Peace Train.
Minister for Railways Saad Rafique has said that Pakistan Railways has arranged the first ever Christmas Peace Train with the aim to share their joys on the eve of Christmas.
He was talking to newsmen at Lahore Railway Station after visiting the special Christmas Peace Train on Sunday.
Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also accompanied him on the occasion.
Saad Rafique said that government is taking various concrete measures to overcome challenges like terrorism and power shortage. He said that due to successful government policies, the backbone of terrorism has been broken while power crisis will soon be over as well.
Talking on the occasion, the Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said Christian community is playing a great role for the development of Pakistan.
He appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Railways by running this special train.
