Pledge to thwart anti-Kashmir agenda

In occupied Kashmir, senior leaders including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Maulana Abbas Ansari and Muhammad Yasin Malik have said that India and its puppet authorities are making efforts at every level to change the disputed status as well as the demography of Jammu and Kashmir. The leaders made these remarks while addressing a Seerat conference at Mirwaiz Manzil in Srinagar, today.

Pellets leave deaf-and-dumb Kashmiri boy blinded for life

In occupied Kashmir, already deprived of two senses, a deaf-and-dumb boy Suhail Shafi was left blinded for life when Indian troops fired pellets at him on Eid-ul-Azha day. Suhail had not let disability come in his way by earning a living working as a videographer, a driver and a decorator until he lost his vision with pellets fired by the forces at him on Eid when everyone at his home was preparing to get the sacrificial sheep slaughtered.

Non-Kashmiris getting nativity, identity certificates

In occupied Kashmir, the non-local Kahsmiris have been getting identity/nativity certificates for the past four months, official documents revealed. A letter (No 19/01/2016-R&SO dated 5/8/2016)—written to the puppet regime by Indian Ministry of Home Affairs (FFR Division), called for issuance of identity certificate non-local Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir. The demand has been made on the pretext of recruitment of the children of these refugees in the Indian Armed Forces.

Attempts to change demography will be opposed: Hurriyet leaders

In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders terming the New Delhi’s attempts aimed at changing the Jammu and Kashmir’s demography as unacceptable have said that Internationally-accepted Kashmir dispute has to be resolved as per the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people. In occupied Kashmir, a complete shutdown was observed in Pulwama district on the first martyrdom anniversary of a mujahid, who was martyred by Indian troops on this day in Ajas area of Bandipora district, last year. Omais Ahmad Shiekh alias Abu Hamza son of Farooq Ahmad of Chatapora village was killed in an encounter with forces at Ajas in Bandipora district, last year.
