In Afghanistan, at least eighty Taliban have been killed in an ongoing military operation in southern Ghazni province.
According to the Provincial Governor Mohammad Aman Hamim dead include twelve Taliban commanders, with security forces suffering eight casualties.
Security forces also re-captured large areas of Ghazni city and districts from the militants.
