PM congratulates Omar Ayub over remarkable achievements

Prime Minister Imran Khan has congratulated Energy Minister Omar Ayub Khan and his whole team for eighty one billion rupees increase in collection in eight months.

In a tweet, he said fifty eight billion rupees have been collected from theft control.

Imran Khan said eighty percent of the country has been freed from load-shedding and there is zero load-shedding at Sehr and Iftar.

Appreciating the hard work of the minister and his team, he said this is Naya Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said another 120 billion rupees would be recovered next year, as flow of circular debt has already reduced from 38 billion rupees per month to 26 billion rupees. He said it would be brought to zero by December next.

Imran Khan said 100 billion rupees additional would be recovered from old receivables.

He said dependence on imported fuels would be brought down from 41 percent to 30 percent in five years and less than 20 percent in 10 years using hydro, renewable and local fuel like Thar coal.
