The United Nations has urged the international community to step up financial support for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh in upcoming monsoon season.

The appeal was made by UN under-secretary general Natalia Kanem at a press conference in Dhaka during her four-day visit to Bangladesh on the Rohingya issue.
