Agriculture experts have advised growers to cut branches of pomegranate trees for better nourishment during the current month.
In a statement issued in Lahore, they said that bushes, shrubs and weeds should be removed time to time in order to get good quality production of pomegranate fruit.
According to a research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, pomegranates are rich in antioxidants and can prevent the oxidization of cholesterol in the body.
