In Sudan, three members of Transitional Military Council's political committee have resigned after demand by opposition.

In a statement, the Council said Lt. Gen. Omer Zainal-Abdin, Lt. Gen. Jalal al-Deen Al-Sheikh and Lt. Gen. (police) Al-Tayeb Babikir Ali resigned from the membership of the Council.

Transitional Military Council is tasked with running the country's affairs following the ouster of President Omar al-Bashir.
