Secretary Defence Lt Gen (Retd) Ikram-ul Haq represented Pakistan in the three-day Moscow Conference on International Security, which concluded today (Thursday).
During the plenary session, the Secretary Defence delivered a speech on "Security in Modern World: Regional and Global Factors and Trends".
He highlighted the achievements of Pakistan in kinetic as well as non-kinetic domain in its fight against terrorism through adoption of holistic multi-pronged strategies.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Secretary Defence met Deputy Defence Ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia as well as Russia's Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces.
During the meetings, both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and explored the possibility of enhancing defence cooperation.
