Iran has warned the United States against any measure to prevent it from using the Strait of Hormuz as a safe transit passage for the sale of its oil.

Speaking at Asia Society in New York, Iranian Foreign Minister said if the United States takes any crazy measure against Iran, it will have to be prepared for the consequences.

Iranian Foreign Minister said Iran will continue to sell its oil, find buyers for it and ship it through the Strait of Hormuz.

He slammed United States for violating the resolution which supports a 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers, and threatening other states with punishment if they engage in trade with Tehran.
