Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to peace and security of Saudi Arabia and sanctity of Harmain Sharifain.
This commitment was made by Prime Minister Imran Khan at a meeting with Chairman Saudi Shura Council Dr. Abdullah Mohammad Ibrahim Al Sheikh in Islamabad today (Thursday).
The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.
He underscored the importance of parliamentary exchanges between the two countries for greater understanding of each other's legislative systems.
The Prime Minister noted with satisfaction the recent developments in Pakistan-Saudi relations, particularly the landmark visit of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman in February this year.
He expressed hope for an early release of Pakistani prisoners in Saudi Arabia, as promised by the Crown Prince during his visit.
