Govt constituted task force to eradicate menace of narcotics: CM Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that government has constituted task force to eradicate menace of narcotics.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Monday, he said government will launch an indiscriminate crackdown against narcotics across the province.

He said that all out facilities are being provided to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Answering a question, he said that Punjab government is in contact with Sindh police for the recovery of missing Hindu girls.

Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister inaugurated one-hundred bed rehabilitation center in Punjab institute of mental Health for drug addicts that has been completed at the cost of 240 million rupees.

He also visited different units of rehabilitation center.

He said that sixty-two doctors have been appointed in this state of the art hospital to serve the patients.

He planted a tree sapling in the lawn of the hospital under the Clean and Green Pakistan Campaign.

Punjab Chief Minister also paid a surprise visit to District Children Hospital and reviewed the equipments, facilities being provided to patients in the hospital and he also asked the patients and their attendants about the treatment facilities.
