The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for stepped-up push for a global ceasefire so that the world focuses on the fight against the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

In his message on the occasion of 75th anniversary of the United Nations today, he said in our world today, we have one common enemy that is COVID-19.

He said now is the time for a stepped-up push for peace to achieve a global ceasefire as the clock is ticking.
