Jordan, Egypt stress two-state solution as key to end Palestinian-Israeli conflict

Jordan and Egypt have stressed that the two-state solution is the key to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the pre-1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital.

According to a statement of the Jordan's Foreign Ministry, the remakes were made by Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry in Amman.

The two Foreign Ministers said that peace and stability in the region could only be restored through the resolution of Palestine issue.
