Small and medium industries play significant role in improving industrial outlook of the country. The large scale manufacturing is not progressing in current economic scenario and we can attract and facilitate international investors in the field of small and medium scale industry. It would help us to address overall economic issues of the country. Small and medium scale industries are more labor intensive and it is a great way to generate more job opportunities for unemployed youth of the country.

Incumbent government is taking corrective measures to improve current economic situation. Business friendly policies and ease of doing business will attract foreign investors. It is need of the hour to facilitate the business community and enhance economic activities in the country. The business registration process is outdated and complicated which needs to be revised. Regulated trajectory should be followed to make registration process more convenient.

Pakistan has already entered into IMF agreement and there are certain positive moves from international financial institutes which would help improving economic outlook of the country. Pakistan has positive financial assistance from UAE, Saudi Arabia and now Qatar; such fruitful steps are highly beneficial to overcome current economic crises. Pakistan needs a lot of money in the form of dollars to support its foreign exchange. It is a very timely help from Qatar to improve economic frame work. There are certain avenues including energy and human resource capital where Pakistan and Qatar can cooperate with each other. Pakistan would have to diversify its export commodities in order to compete with international markets.

It is a good omen that incumbent government is taking keen interest in resolving business and investment related issues. It is highly important to formulate a reform agenda in order to streamline the business registration process. One window operation is imperative to attract national and international investors. Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken appreciable steps in order to facilitate the business community and ensure the implementation of one window operation .Formation of Rehber committee is welcoming.
