CCRI, WWF sign MoU for safe agriculture practices

The World Wildlife Fund Pakistan has registered over 100,000 cotton farmers enabling them to preserve environment. 

In this regard, Central Cotton Research Institute Multan and World Wildlife Fund Pakistan signed a memorandum of understanding in Multan.

The spokesman and head of fiber technology section of the CCRI Multan Muhammad Ilyas said that the WWF were working on a variety of initiatives mainly focused on environment conservation.

He said that the MoU will help promote profitable cotton cultivation techniques and WWF experts can tell farmers about the application of pesticides to avoid harm to friendly pests and the environment.
