President urges Muslims to defeat propaganda against Islam
Talking to delegation of Muslim World League, Mamnoon Hussain says 60,000 Pakistanis have been martyred due to terrorism in country.
President said that Muslims around the world should work with unity and mutual harmony to counter propaganda against Islam and Muslims.
Talking to Secretary General Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turki in Islamabad on Monday, the President stated that there can be difference of opinion in Islam but no one is allowed to impose one’s views on others.
Mamnoon Hussain said that sixty thousand Pakistanis have been martyred due to terrorism in the country.
He underscored the need to adopt other means as well along with force to end terrorism so that people are stopped from getting inclined toward extremism.
Meanwhile, talking to a delegation of Royal College of Physicians of Britain in Islamabad, President Mamnoon Hussain has said Pakistan would soon overcome the challenge of Polio.
He urged the international community to lift travel restrictions on Pakistan.
The President welcomed the decision to conduct MRCP examination in Pakistan. He said this would also benefit other countries of the region.
