Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says provision of basic amenities to the masses is top priority of the government.

He was presiding over a high-level meeting in Lahore on Monday. 

The Prime Minister said every penny of national exchanger must be spent on welfare of the people with honesty.

Nawaz Sharif directed that no stone should be left unturned to provide education, health and clean drinking water to the people.

He said the PML-N government is executing mega projects to facilitate the masses.                                

The Prime Minister said historic Kissan package is facilitating the farmers across the country without any discrimination. He said quick action was taken to provide relief to the earthquake affected people. He said he is personally monitoring rehabilitation of the quake victims.      

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said people have reposed confidence in PML-N Government in the first and second phase of local government elections due to its welfare-oriented policies.
