The step has been taken in line with the Prime Minister’s directive to provide all necessary assistance to the Government and people of Sri Lanka, for rescue and relief operation, following the devastating flood.
The Aircraft is carrying Tarpaulins, Tents, Mats, Aqua Tabs and electricity generators.
Foreign Office Spokiesman said the Government and the people of Pakistan stand with the brotherly people of Sri Lanka in this hour of need and will continue to assist in the rehabilitation of those affected by this natural calamity.

During the campaign about eleven million children in 36 districts of the province will be administered polio vaccine.
For this purpose, hundreds of teams have been constituted for the campaign, while strict security arrangements have also been made.
