Says Rs 200 to 250 million will be allocated in next budget for cultivation of sparsely needed water plants like olive, fig etc.
Adviser to CM Balochistan on Forests Ubaidullah Jan Babat says efforts are underway to put the agriculture on modern lines.
Addressing a seminar held under the aegis of Agriculture department in Loralai, he said that 200 to 250 million rupees will be allocated in next budget for the cultivation of sparsely needed water plants like olive, fig etc.
He said under the prime minister's Kissan' package the farmers will be given five thousand rupees each for their loss or decrease in per acre productivity of cotton and rice crops.
