A C-130 Aircraft carrying relief assistance left for Colombo on Monday.

The step has been taken in line with the Prime Minister’s directive to provide all necessary assistance to the Government and people of Sri Lanka, for rescue and relief operation, following the devastating flood.

The Aircraft is carrying Tarpaulins, Tents, Mats,  Aqua Tabs and electricity generators.

Foreign Office Spokesman said the Government and the people of Pakistan stand with the brotherly people of Sri Lanka in this hour of need and will continue to assist in the rehabilitation of those affected by this natural calamity.
