The founding father of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew who transformed the small port city into a wealthy global hub, has died at the age of 91.
A state funeral will be held on 29th March, after a week of mourning.
Lee Kuan Yew oversaw Singapore's independence from Britain and separation from Malaysia.
He served as the Prime Minister for thirty-one years.
