Pakistan, Qatar to boost cooperation in diverse sectors
Qatar Emir holds talks with Pakistani leadership on host of issues.
Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamin Bin Hamad Al-Thani called on President Mamnoon Hussain at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Monday.
They exchanged views on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interests.
The two leaders had discussions on prospects of cooperation in trade, energy and investment sectors.
The President and Emir of Qatar agreed on the need to increase cooperation in different sectors.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani held talks in Islamabad this evening.
The two sides discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation in various fields with focus on trade and energy.
Regional and international issues of bilateral importance also came under discussion.
The Prime Minister in the talks was assisted by Advisor on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, and Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi.
The Emir of Qatar was assisted by his Ministers for Foreign Affairs, Energy, Finance, Economic and Trade Affairs.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Emir of Qatar held one on one meeting and discussed bilateral relations, regional and international issues.
He was warmly greeted at the airport by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The Emir of Qatar was presented a 21-gun salute on his arrival at the Noor Khan Airbase in Islamabad.
Two small children presented bouquets to the dignitaries.
A smartly turned contingent drawn from three services presented guard of honour to Emir of Qatar . Sheikh Tamim took the salute and inspected the guard of honour.
On this occasion, national anthems of the two countries were played.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif introduced members of his cabinet and services chiefs to the guest. The Prime Minister also shook hands with the entourage of the Qatari Emir.
