In Occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders have greeted government and people of Pakistan on the Pakistan Day on Monday.

The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq met Pakistan High Commissioner, Abdul Basit in New Delhi and conveyed good wishes on behalf of the people of Kashmir to the people of Pakistan.

The veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Geelani, in a statement prayed for the stability and safety of the country.

He said a stable and strong Pakistan is an imperative for the liberation of Kashmir from Indian bondage.

Senior Kashmir leaders, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Musarrat Alam Butt said Pakistan has always remained an icon of hope for not only the people of Kashmir, but the Muslims of the world at large.  

APHC leaders, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, Zafar Akbar Butt and JKLF-R Chairman, Farooq Ahmad Dar in their statements prayed for prosperity and progress of the Pakistani nation.
