In Gaza , a war-damaged school has been refurbished with a fifty thousand dollars contribution made by Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai.

Head of the UN agency assisting Palestinian refugees in the Middle East Pierre Krahenbuhl, who reopened the school, paid tributes to Malala Yousufzai for her generous contribution.

The school had been hit by Israeli bombing during last summer's conflict.
