Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Revenue Haroon Akhtar has expressed confidence that the revenue collection target will be met despite a number of relief measures and subsidies granted in the export sectors and agriculture.

Speaking at a function in Islamabad on Friday, he said there has been an accumulative growth of seventy-five percent in revenue generation over the last four years.

Haroon Akhtar said the tax proposals adopted in the recently approved budget are realistic and pointed to the sincerity of the socio-economic agenda of the government.
