A meeting of Pakistan-Afghanistan Joint Economic Commission was held in Kabul today (Sunday).

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar led the Pakistan delegation while the Afghan side was led by his Afghan counterpart Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal.

The two sides discussed matters about improving the bilateral economic cooperation.

Speaking on the occasion‚ Ishaq Dar said Pakistan would continue to play its role in reconstruction of Afghanistan. He said Pakistan accords high priority to its trade and economic relations with Afghanistan.

During his stay in Afghanistan‚ the Finance Minister would also visit major projects constructed by Pakistan under its bilateral assistance programme.
