20 Afghan soldiers killed in Kunar
President Karzai postpones Sri Lanka’s visit.
In Afghanistan‚ at least twenty Afghan soldiers were killed when Taliban attacked an Army base in Ghaziabad district of Kunar province.
Taliban also made seven Afghan soldiers hostage while one of the Taliban was killed in the attack.
Defence Ministry Spokesman General Mohammad Zahir Azimi said hundreds of insurgents were involved in the attack.
Meanwhile‚ Governor of Kunar‚ Shuja Ul Mulk said it was possible that Taliban infiltrators in the army had helped organize the attack.
On the other hand‚ Afghan President Hamid Karzai postponed a planned visit to Sri Lanka on Sunday because of the attack.
