Pakistan greatly values its ties with Algeria: President
Mamnoon Hussain says Pakistan is keen to enhance its existing relations with Algeria.
President Mamnoon Hussain has asked the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) to introduce electoral reforms to enhance credibility of Election Commission.
He was talking to the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan Justice (R) Sardar Muhammad Raza in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He said the entire nation is looking toward the new Chief Election Commissioner to resolve various election related issues and introduce electoral reforms.
He emphasized that delimitation of constituencies in Sindh and Punjab should be carried out at the earliest and as per the aspirations of the people.
Chief Election Commissioner assured the President that he would discharge his duties to the best of his ability.
Meanwhile, President Mamnoon Hussain has said Pakistan greatly values its friendship with Algeria which is based on commonality of views on regional and global issues.
He was talking to outgoing Ambassador of Algeria Dr. Ahmed Benflis in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The President said Pakistan is keen to enhance its existing relations with Algeria in all areas particularly in trade and economic matters.
He said high level exchanges between the two countries would be instrumental in further boosting bilateral relations.
Mamnoon Hussain said Pakistan and offers good opportunities to foreign investors.
The President said Pakistan is ready to enter into joint ventures with Algeria in oil and gas exploration and setting up a fertilizer plant in Algeria.
