PM Sharif, King Salman discuss Yemen conflict
Delegation-level talks between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were also held at Royal Palace in Riyadh
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz held a luncheon meeting in Riyadh on Thursday.
The two leaders discussed the Yemen situation.
Later, delegation-level talks between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were also held at Royal Palace in Riyadh.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif led Pakistani side while the Saudi delegation was headed by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also held a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz at Royal Palace in Riyadh.
Deputy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Muhammad bin Naif called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Riyadh today.
Naif is also Interior Minister of the Kingdom.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also held a meeting with Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi in Riyadh today.
Matters pertaining to Yemen crisis came under discussion.
Earlier, the Prime Minister was warmly welcomed at the airport by Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif Al Saud and Defence Minister Muhammad Bin Salman Al Saud.
A guard of honour was also presented to the Prime Minister.
And on-board the special plane, the Prime Minister chaired a meeting on Yemen situation which was attended by Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Prime Minister's Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry.
