CM lauds $46 billion Chinese investment for Pakistan
Shahbaz Sharif holds meeting with delegation of China Machinery Engineering Corporation in Lahore.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif says China has set a unique example of friendship through unprecedented investment of forty-six billion dollars for Pakistan.
He was talking to a high level delegation of China Machinery Engineering Corporation in Lahore on Thursday.
Both sides discussed matters pertaining to cooperation in energy and mining sectors.
He said this historical investment packages is not only an opportunity but also a big challenge for Pakistan.
Chairing another meeting in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif directed to install water filtration plants in four tehsils of Southern Punjab as a pilot project.
He said the project would later be expanded to other parts of the Province.
The Chief Minister said solar panels should be installed for running the water filtration plants.
